City of Indio Request for Proposals for Private Security Services

The City of Indio is requesting proposals from private security firms to provide uniformed security patrol, downtown ambassador services, and related security services at city parks, facilities, water infrastructure sites, and public areas. Scope includes facility and park patrols, observation and reporting, daily and incident reports, and special event security. Eligible proposers must be USA-based organizations and obtain a valid City of Indio business license before contract execution. Proposals must include a completed price proposal build-up, certification, references, and required disclosure attachments. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for November 2, 2026, and all questions must be submitted by November 4, 2026. Proposals must be submitted via email to Lieutenant Christopher Shannon by November 16, 2026, at 5:00 P.M. The contract term consists of an initial period with options for up to three additional one-year extensions.
