About this opportunity
AI summaryThe Government is conducting market research through a Request for Information to identify potential sources with the repair data, expertise, capabilities, and experience to provide depot-level repair for the B-52 APQ-166 Magnetron/Electron Tube (NSN 5960-01-318-0987, PN VMX-1849). The selected contractor must furnish all material, support equipment, tools, test equipment, and services required to perform the repairs at their facility or a subcontractor's facility. CPI is the original manufacturer and known sole source contractor, as the Government does not own the technical data needed for organic repair. Interested contractors and institutions must submit written responses supporting their capabilities, staff composition, past experience, repair processes, commercial pricing, and cybersecurity practices. Submissions must be received by mail no later than 30 calendar days after the publication date, and questions should be directed to Program Manager Brenden Collins. The Government will not reimburse participants for any expenses, and participation does not guarantee inclusion in future solicitations or contract awards.
