Study Abroad Medical Insurance Service for Weber State University

Weber State University is soliciting proposals for a study abroad medical insurance service. The selected vendor must provide required medical insurance coverage for university students participating in domestic and international study away, academic year, semester, intersession, and short-term summer faculty-led programs. Program locations span globally, including the United States, England, Germany, Japan, China, Ireland, Ghana, France, Peru, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Finland, and Spain. The University will pay all insurance premiums. Only onshore USA organizations are eligible to bid. Proposals can be submitted digitally via email or online. All questions regarding the RFP must be submitted through the university's sourcing website no later than November 9, 2026. The selected supplier must maintain required insurance coverages, including Commercial General Liability with per occurrence limits of at least $1,000,000, and name Weber State University as an additional insured.
