Lake Point Municipal Accounting and Financial Services

The City of Lake Point, Utah seeks qualified accounting firms or individual accountants to deliver professional municipal accounting and financial services. The selected contractor will provide general accounting support, financial statement preparation under GAAP and GASB, budget and forecasting assistance, audit support, and compliance reporting. Eligible respondents must be USA-based organizations, licensed or authorized to provide accounting services in Utah, and possess five years of experience with governmental fund accounting. Applicants must submit proposals in PDF format by November 13, 2026, at 5:00 PM MST via email to the City Recorder or by physical delivery. The proposed fee schedule must be submitted separately from the qualifications packet. Written questions are due by November 10, 2026, at 5:00 PM MST. The City will evaluate proposals using a 100-point scale based on qualifications (25 points), relevant experience (30 points), approach and past performance (20 points), and separately scored cost (25 points). The initial contract term spans one year with up to two one-year renewal options, with compensation based on an estimated monthly flat rate and hourly rates.
