WordPress Platform Managed Services and Cloud Infrastructure Migration

The Canadian Museum of History seeks proposals from qualified firms with managerial and technical experience to deliver WordPress platform managed services. The selected contractor must transfer cloud infrastructure, migrate the WordPress sites into a contractor-owned and operated Amazon Web Services environment, and operate, secure, and maintain the environment on an ongoing basis. Eligibility requires onshore Canada organizations to perform the work offsite. The museum uses a two-step, one-envelope submission process covering technical and financial components to select the highest-ranked proponent. Proposals are evaluated based on previous achievements, experience, and managerial and technical expertise. Proponents must submit proposals through the MERX Electronic Bid Submission System before December 9, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST, and submit questions online by December 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST. The initial contract term spans two years from award, with options to extend for up to two additional one-year periods.
