City of Greensboro Functional Testing for Employment Program Services

The City of Greensboro People and Culture Department seeks qualified contractors to provide a functional employment testing program as part of its work injury and disability management program. The selected contractor must conduct job analyses, post-offer physical fitness testing, hiring recommendations, periodic reporting, and employee education, while supplying all necessary staff, hardware, software, and technical support. Eligible contractors must be certified in North Carolina in physical or occupational therapy, possess at least three years of experience delivering functional employment testing, and provide at least three recent contracts for similar work. Submissions must be delivered digitally through GePS by November 20, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST, and the question and answer period closes November 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST. Proposals will be evaluated on a 100-point matrix assessing cost, experience, project approach, legal experience, past performance, sample evaluation and invoice, proposal clarity, references, and local preference. The contract term spans three years, running tentatively from December 15, 2026, through December 15, 2029.
