Community Nursing Home Services

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a qualified vendor to provide community nursing home services to beneficiaries in Georgia. The agency requires these services to ensure that the total medical, nursing, and psychosocial needs of all placed beneficiaries are fully met. The scope of work covers the provision of room, meals, nursing care, and other services or supplies commensurate with the authorized level of care, without any extra charge. The selected provider must perform all work onsite at the designated facility and conduct at least one patient visit per month. The agency also requires that laboratory, x-ray, and other special services remain available to patients on an as-needed basis. To be eligible for award, all proposed nursing home facilities must hold a current state nursing home license and active Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services certification for Medicare, Medicaid, or both. The agency is limiting eligibility to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency has not disclosed a set budget and is currently looking for proposals to determine the cost of these services.
