Description
AI GeneratedThe Missile Defense Agency (MDA) is seeking a Mobile Integrated Launch Capability (MILC) solution. The agency aims to augment legacy target system launch mechanisms to support testing of the Missile Defense System. This effort seeks innovative, cost-efficient alternatives to current air drop C-17 target launches, enabling rapid demonstrations of mobile launch platforms capable of deploying and launching target missile systems from multiple worldwide locations. The project encompasses a two-phase effort: Phase I involves detailed design, engagement analysis, and prototype costing for MILC concepts. Phase II includes prototyping, ground testing, and launching a candidate target system. The contract period will be for two years, from June 24, 2026, to September 30, 2028. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations within the USA. Performance of the work will be conducted offsite. The solicitation uses a two-step process, beginning with the submission and evaluation of white papers. Selected white papers will proceed to Step-Two for further requests for information and negotiation towards an award. The agency is looking for proposals and will consider all contract types recommended by the offeror. The evaluation and selection process will involve competitive selection of white papers. White papers must detail the technical approach, design and prototyping capabilities, test plans, schedule, and rough order of magnitude cost for both phases of the MILC development.
