Description
AI GeneratedThe Air Force Research Laboratory Technology Transition Office seeks information from domestic US-only businesses to understand domestic market capabilities and identify qualified vendors. The buyer needs technologies small enough for installation on Group 2-3 unmanned aircraft systems across two pathways: integrated Government-Off-The-Shelf or Non-Developmental Item radar electronic attack systems, and Commercial-Off-The-Shelf modular enablers and building blocks. Only domestic US-only businesses are eligible to respond. Interested parties must submit unclassified RFI abstract responses in Microsoft Word format, double-spaced with an 11-point or larger font, limited to 15 pages excluding Section A, by November 6, 2026, at 1700 EST. Respondents must address technical details and include estimated cost profiles or Rough Order of Magnitude pricing, including hardware cost per unit. Because this publication is a Request for Information issued solely for information and planning purposes, the buyer will not award a contract, pay for submitted information, evaluate proposals, or commit to a specific contract term or budget. Technical points of contact receive technical questions, while contracting points of contact handle contractual or business inquiries.

Read the official notice description
The Air Force Research Laboratory, Tech Transition Office AFRL/RR, in coordination with the Information and Spectrum Warfare Directorate (AFRL/RI), is seeking information from industry to improve USAF understanding of domestic market capabilities and identify qualified vendors to collaborate with. Specifically, AFRL is investigating technologies small enough to be installed on Group 2-3 unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) across two core pathways: 1. Integrated GOTS/NDI Systems: Existing Government-Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) or Non- Developmental Item (NDI) radar electronic attack (EA) systems that have been proven or demonstrated for military use. 2. COTS Modular Enablers & Building Blocks: Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) hardware, open software-defined architectures, and high-performance RF components. AFRL is highly interested in innovative commercial building blocks—including Radio Frequency System on Chip (RFSoC) technology, high-speed analog-to-digital converters, and edge compute chips—that can support receive, process, and transmit capabilities in a variety of active and passive military scenarios.
