Scope of work
- Necessary cleaning including physical removal of grit, sludge, debris, sediments, and other materials
- Decontamination, collection, abatement, analysis, identification, packaging, removal, shipping, and disposal of waste
- Packaging, removal, transport, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials in accordance with applicable laws
- Preparation and establishment of waste profiles and Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifests
- Providing properly permitted equipment, trucks, vacuum trucks, dumpster moving equipment, pressure washers, and side-dump vehicles
- Providing rescue plans and trained rescue teams for emergency situations
- Emergency response with pumping or vacuuming equipment when notified
- Selection and utilization of approved, permitted Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facilities (TSDF)
Minimum qualifications
- Assigned employees must have at least five (5) years of experience
- 29 CFR 1910.120 HAZWOPER certification for personnel
- Confined Space Entry Rescue certification in accordance with OSHA Final Rule 29 CFR Part 1910.146
- Current State of Nevada EPA license number
- Current applicable Clark County Business License
- At least three (3) references, preferably from the water/wastewater industry
- Maintain or own properly permitted trucks, vacuum trucks, trailers, and equipment
- Maintain a secured, permitted area or storage location to be used as a transfer station
