Temporary Public Health Officer Service

The County of Lake Health Services Department requires a vendor to provide temporary public health officer services in Lakeport, CA while the county recruits a permanent public health officer. The selected contractor will carry out public health officer functions, reporting to the Health Services Director, with most work performed remotely and potential in-person travel required during board of supervisors declared emergencies. Eligible proposers include onshore USA organizations. Proposers must submit questions by November 12, 2026, and submit final proposals digitally via email or online by November 16, 2026, at 5:00 P.M. The county will evaluate proposals based on its sole judgment of which proposal best serves its interests, and proposers may be required to demonstrate necessary facilities, ability, and financial resources prior to contract award.
