Professional Financial Audit Services

The City of Hinesville requests sealed proposals from qualified independent certified public accounting firms to provide professional financial audit services onsite in Hinesville, GA for a three-year contract term. The selected vendor must perform annual financial statement audits, compliance audits, internal control reviews, Single Audits under Uniform Guidance, and Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) reporting for each entity, including the City of Hinesville and the Liberty Consolidated Planning Commission. Eligible applicants are limited to US onshore organizations. Firms intending to bid must submit a Notification of Interest using Attachment D by October 12, 2026. Applicants must submit complete proposals by 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time on November 6, 2026, consisting of six printed copies of a Technical Proposal and one original Cost Proposal in a separate sealed envelope. Deliverables include preliminary draft reports, final audit reports presented to the Governing Board, management letters, and a Schedule of Findings and Questioned Costs when applicable.
