Municipal Decarbonization Planning Assistance Services

The Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources seeks applications for municipal decarbonization planning assistance services. The program requires contractors assigned by the department to deliver either desktop analysis and roadmap development or facility condition assessments and roadmap development to supported municipalities. Applicants must be USA onshore organizations. To be eligible for assistance, an applicant must be a Massachusetts municipality that provides a letter of commitment signed by its Chief Executive Officer, documents local energy reduction efforts, and establishes progress toward meeting Climate Leader Community requirements. Applicants must submit required application materials electronically to [email protected], including a completed Grant Application, required eligibility documentation, supporting documentation, and a signed Certification of Application. Bidders must submit written questions through the Bid Q&A feature on COMMBUYS. The department evaluates complete applications based on the established evaluation criteria and assigns contractors to provide general program oversight and complete project deliverables within the established schedule.
