Engineering Support and Technical Assistance Service

The City of Boston Office of Economic Opportunity & Inclusion seeks competitive quotes for engineering support and technical assistance services for the Boston Cannabis Equity Program. The selected vendor will provide certified and pre-certified cannabis equity business owners with tailored architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing guidance through the preconstruction phase, including local permitting, facility design, security planning, traffic studies, workshops, and regulatory guidance materials. The contract term is one year, with all work performed onsite in the USA. Eligibility is limited to USA-only vendors who demonstrate at least three years of relevant technical assistance experience, have completed at least two similar project examples, and maintain active registration as a Professional Engineer. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the City of Boston Supplier Portal by December 1, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST, and an optional virtual Q&A session will occur on November 9, 2026. The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible vendor that meets all minimum criteria and submits the lowest price proposal.
