Butts County Schools Fully Managed Lit Fiber Wide Area Network Service

Butts County Schools is soliciting proposals from qualified onshore service providers for a fully managed, lit fiber Wide Area Network connecting its instructional and administrative facilities in Jackson, GA. The selected vendor must provide physical and logical connectivity with an effective throughput of at least 2 Gbps or 5 Gbps between facilities, along with necessary terminating equipment, network management, and monitoring. The required contract period is 36 months starting July 1, 2027. Applicants must be USA organizations legally authorized to conduct business in Georgia, compliant with Federal E-Verify, and hold a valid USAC Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN) and FCC registration. Vendors must also possess adequate existing infrastructure or a detailed build/lease plan. Questions are due by November 21, 2026, at 4:00 PM EST via email to [email protected]. Evaluation criteria include E-Rate eligible cost (40 points), administrative requirements (35 points), technical requirements (15 points), vendor qualifications (5 points), and proposal quality (5 points).
