Town of Essex External Audit Services for Fiscal Years 2026 to 2028

The Corporation of the Town of Essex is requesting proposals for external audit services covering the 2026 to 2028 fiscal period. The selected audit firm must perform annual offsite audits, assemble and present the final Audited Consolidated Financial Statements to the Town Council, and submit an Audit Management Letter. Eligibility is restricted to onshore Canadian vendors. Applicants must submit proposals by November 17, 2026, at 3:00 PM Local Time to the Town of Essex Municipal Offices. Submissions by facsimile or email will not be accepted. The application package must include a hard copy letter addressing statement of qualifications, an electronic copy on a jump-drive, and completed Appendices A through H, including the Pricing Summary Sheet. The awarded proponent must maintain $2,000,000 in Comprehensive General Liability and Professional Errors or Omissions Insurance, name the Town as an additional insured, and provide proof of Workplace Safety and Insurance Act coverage.
