The buyer requires a vendor to provide comprehensive occupational health and workers' compensation medical services for city applicants and employees, including public safety and safety-sensitive positions. The selected provider must deliver timely pre-employment examinations, medical clearances, job-related evaluations, authorized drug and alcohol testing, occupational medical surveillance, and fitness-for-duty assessments. Additionally, the vendor must furnish medical evaluations and follow-up care for work-related injuries, manage confidential records, deliver work-status reporting, and coordinate with the city's workers' compensation claims administrator to support safe return-to-work planning.
