University of Connecticut Invitation to Bid for Hartford Campus Landscaping Services

The University of Connecticut is seeking bids for a two-year contract to provide landscaping services at its Hartford Campus locations. The requested scope includes spring and fall cleanup, weekly lawn maintenance and mowing, seasonal pruning of trees and trimming of shrubs, and additional services for plantings or emergency tree and shrub removal. Participation from certified small, minority, woman, and disability-owned businesses, as well as Connecticut-based businesses, is encouraged. All questions must be posted as Requests for Information in the HuskyBuy Portal by November 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Bids must be submitted digitally through the HuskyBuy Portal by December 9, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Evaluation will be based on objective technical criteria, contractor responsibility, previous relevant experience, team qualifications, and the lowest overall cost provided on the required Cost Proposal Form.
