City of Beaumont Request for Proposals for Workers' Compensation Excess Insurance Services

The City of Beaumont is soliciting proposals from USA-based organizations for workers' compensation excess insurance services. The selected vendor must handle injury/illness reports, claims, and records offsite at their own office premises while offering coverage that at least matches the City's current policy. Eligible respondents must be licensed carriers or established inter-local agreement self-insurance pools authorized in Texas, hold a minimum A.M. Best rating of A, and be no more than 60 days past due on any debt to the City. Applicants must complete a mandatory pre-RFP Market Assignment Form by 12:00 PM CT on November 10, 2026.
