Pre-Employment Psychological Assessment Consultant Services for Public Safety Applicants

The City and Borough of Juneau seeks a contractor to provide offsite pre-employment psychological assessment consultant services. The selected vendor must utilize empirical assessment instruments with documented reliability and validity to evaluate public safety candidates. The evaluation scope includes clinical interviews, personal history reviews, and assessing traits such as stress resilience, judgment, anger management, and integrity to ensure candidates are free from safety-impairing psychological conditions. Eligibility is limited to onshore United States organizations. The successful proposer must enter into a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement to safeguard protected health information.
