Design-Build Services for Huntersville Fire Station No. 2 Facility

The Town of Huntersville seeks qualified Design-Build teams to deliver professional design, construction, and contract administration services for the new Fire Station No. 2 facility. The project entails constructing an approximately 15,000-square-foot, single-story building and associated site improvements at 15318 NC Hwy 73 to replace the existing facility on Beatties Ford Road. Only onshore U.S. organizations are eligible, and North Carolina firms will receive priority consideration. Statements of qualifications are due by 11:00 AM on January 5, 2027, with inquiries due by 12:00 noon on December 2, 2026. A pre-proposal meeting takes place on November 12, 2026. Evaluations will score firm experience and past performance in North Carolina at 40 percent and proposed staff experience at 35 percent. The Town anticipates project costs of approximately $16 million with an expected completion date of July 2029.
