TxDOT On-Site Armed and Unarmed Security Officer and Foot Patrol Services

The Texas Department of Transportation requires on-site uniformed unarmed and armed security officers and dedicated foot patrol officers at the Greer Building in Austin, Texas. Selected personnel will conduct foot patrols and surveillance, screen employees and visitors, and protect staff and facilities including interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking lots, and garages under a three-year contract. Only onshore U.S. organizations may bid. Interested parties must submit questions by November 11, 2026, ahead of the pre-response conference scheduled for November 10, 2026. Proposals are due digitally via email or online by 3:00 PM Central Time on December 2, 2026. An evaluation committee will score qualifying responses based on respondent approach to meeting requirements (55 points), pricing from the original written proposal (30 points), and respondent qualifications and experience (15 points).
