Forensic Autopsy Assistant Services for Postmortem Examinations and Morgue Operations

The buyer seeks a vendor to provide as-needed forensic autopsy assistant services to assist with postmortem examinations, including full autopsies, partial autopsies, or external examinations, as well as related exam room and morgue operations in San Diego, California. Contractor personnel must possess the necessary education, training, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform to agency standards under the direction of the Forensic Autopsy Room Manager or designee. Assigned duties include preparing stations and decedents, assisting with autopsies, handling specimens and evidence, capturing fingerprints, photographs, and digital radiography images, transporting decedents, keeping records, and handling sanitation. Eligibility is limited to onshore U.S. organizations, and the contract term will last for one year. Bidders must submit all questions no later than November 13, 2026.
