Roadside, Sidewalk, and Basin Herbicide Application Services

The Ada County Highway District seeks a contractor to deliver roadside, sidewalk, stormwater basin, and related spot herbicide application services within agency-owned or maintained public rights-of-way and facilities. The contractor must supply all labor, supervision, herbicides, adjuvants, drift-control agents, equipment, traffic control, licenses, records, and incident response to perform initial and follow-up treatments on target weeds. Work includes treating roadsides, sidewalks, basins, access roads, and designated unopened rights-of-way. Eligible onshore United States contractors must be authorized to conduct business in Idaho, hold valid pesticide applicator licenses, and possess at least three full years of experience performing similar application work in Ada County. Bidders must submit copies of licenses, insurance documentation, and a detailed Application Plan with their bid submissions. The contract term lasts for one year. Interested parties must submit all questions by November 11, 2026, following a non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting scheduled for November 10, 2026.
