Utilities Locating Services for Electric, Water, Sanitary Sewer, and Storm Sewer Systems

The City of Niles seeks a contractor to provide onsite utility locating services for electric, water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer systems under a one-year contract. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, utility, and transportation services necessary to complete routine one call tickets, project tickets, and emergency after-hours one call tickets. Bidders must be based onshore in the United States and submit sealed proposals to the Office of the City Clerk by 2:45 PM local time on Wednesday, January 6, 2027. Submissions must include a signed Certificate of Compliance with non-discrimination laws and a certified check or bid bond of at least 5% of the proposal amount. Questions are due by November 15, 2026, and a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will occur on December 9, 2026. City Council will evaluate proposals and accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the city.
