Transcription and Stenographic Services

The District of Columbia Public Employee Relations Board (PERB) requires a vendor to provide court transcription and stenographic services on an as-needed basis for agency hearings. The contractor must record proceedings and supply all necessary equipment, including tape recorders, audiotapes, microphones, extension cords, and machinery. All typed transcripts must adhere to specific formatting rules, including containing no fewer than 25 typed lines on standard 8-1/2 x 11 paper and using 9 to 10 characters per typed inch. Additional strict requirements mandate precise margins and exact line indentations for questions, answers, colloquy, and quoted material. Eligibility is restricted to onshore US organizations, and PERB requires performance both onsite and offsite.
