Waco ISD Request for Proposals for Migration of On-Premise Virtualization Infrastructure

Waco ISD issued Request for Proposals RFP # 26-1319 to solicit bids from qualified systems integrators, hardware vendors, and technology providers for an on-premises virtualization infrastructure migration. The selected vendor must replace existing server hardware and transition the District from its VMware platform to an alternative enterprise-grade hypervisor solution, such as Nutanix AHV, Verge.io, KVM/Proxmox VE, or HPE Morpheus. The project scope includes discovery and assessment, a phased migration strategy, testing and validation, network infrastructure services, unified management tools, and post-implementation support. Eligibility is limited to onshore United States organizations, and the work will occur offsite. Interested vendors must submit questions by November 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM CT. Proposals are due by November 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM CT and can be submitted digitally via email or online through the District's e-bidding website.
