Scope of work

  • Pick up documents at various City locations as stated in Attachment D
  • Cross-cut shred paper documents into pieces between 7/16 and 1/32 inches
  • Shred materials as is without requiring City employees to sort or remove clips, staples, or folders
  • Provide secure containers and secure transportation
  • Provide a document destruction certificate to the contract manager within 24 hours after destruction

Minimum qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience providing shredding services
  • All employees handling City documents must sign a confidentiality statement
  • Drivers and crew must be in uniform and wear ID badges on City property
  • National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) AAA certification
