Town of Stafford Request for Proposals for Town Attorney Services

The Town of Stafford, Connecticut is seeking proposals for Town Attorney services from qualified law firms. The selected firm will designate a lead Town Attorney to manage legal operations, including general municipal law, land use, tax appeals, tax collection, litigation, legal document preparation, real estate transactions, and attending town meetings. Work will be performed offsite. Eligible applicants are USA-based law firms with attorneys who hold a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school, maintain good standing with the Connecticut State Bar, and possess at least six years of municipal law experience. Proposals are evaluated based on municipal law experience, legal expertise, cost of services, and other town criteria.
