Design-Build Services for Padelford, Triangle, and Central Parking Garage Renewal

The University of Washington is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified USA design-build teams to provide design and construction services for the Padelford, Triangle, and Central Parking Garage Renewal project. The requested scope includes near, intermediate, and long-term repairs and improvements—such as structural concrete repairs, waterproofing, expansion joint replacement, and lighting and ADA upgrades—to extend the useful life of the three facilities by ten years while mitigating operational disruptions. Execution of the construction work will extend across four summer seasons from 2027 through 2030. A virtual pre-submission meeting is scheduled for November 3, 2026, and all questions must be submitted by November 16, 2026. Submittals are due no later than 3:00 PM on November 24, 2026. Proposals will be evaluated based on team members and firm experience (30 points), design-build process (30 points), partnership (20 points), business equity (10 points), construction site safety (10 points), and pass/fail bonding and insurance letters supporting a target design-build budget of $15,000,000.
