Village of Johnson Disaster Recovery and Mitigation Technical Assistance Consultant Services

The Village of Johnson, Vermont is requesting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide Disaster Recovery and Mitigation Technical Assistance Consultant Services. The selected consultant will assist with ongoing recovery from severe flooding in July 2023 and July 2024, support current and future resilience and mitigation efforts, and handle Public Assistance grant management. Scope of work includes program management, village coordination, financial and reimbursement compliance support, and staff augmentation. Performance of the work will be offsite at the vendor's premises. Eligibility is limited to USA onshore organizations. Vendors must submit all questions by November 6, 2026. Submissions require both an email to Erik Bailey, Village General Manager, at [email protected] and three sealed hard copies delivered to the Village of Johnson by November 23, 2026, at 3:00 PM. Fax submissions will not be accepted. The estimated Selectboard award date is December 7, 2026, with contract execution anticipated on December 14, 2026, and work estimated to begin December 21, 2027.
