University of Waterloo Enterprise Research Administration and Commercialization System

The University of Waterloo seeks an enterprise research administration system and commercialization system to consolidate existing enterprise systems and enhance data interoperability. The solution must support core research administration functions across the full lifecycle, standardize permissions, integrate with existing University platforms, and provide reporting capabilities via a modern user interface. Eligible respondents are restricted to Canada (Onshore Only) to perform the work offsite. Applicants must submit proposals digitally via Dropbox in Bonfire by November 30, 2026, at 14:30:00, while all questions must be submitted by November 23, 2026. Submissions must include a proposal under 30 double-sided pages, Appendix A Requirements, Appendix B Form of Declaration, Appendix C Bid Form, and at least three client references. The buyer evaluates proposals based on Total Cost of Ownership and individual requirement scores, awarding a contract period of five years with fixed Canadian dollar pricing.
