Commercial Water Softener System Installation at Lafayette County Jail

Lafayette County invites sealed proposals from qualified contractors to furnish and install a complete commercial water softener system at the Lafayette County Jail in Lexington, Missouri. The requested scope includes system evaluation, sizing, equipment, installation, startup, testing, and staff training for the jail's domestic water supply, excluding fire protection systems. Eligible contractors must be located onshore in the USA and must comply with jail security requirements. Contractors must schedule and complete a mandatory onsite visit by appointment with Lt. Nicole Harmon by November 6, 2026, or the county will reject their proposal. Written questions are due by 4:30 p.m. Central Time on November 20, 2026.
