Monroe County Operation of Fish Hatchery Services at Powder Mills Park

Monroe County is soliciting proposals for the operation of fish hatchery services at Powder Mills Park. The selected vendor must provide a narrative and work plan covering the services offered, plans for continued staffing during park hours, maintenance operations, capital improvements, plans to serve as an educational resource for schools and community groups, and a plan to host the Fish Hatchery Annual Trout Derby. Eligibility is restricted to onshore USA organizations. All questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by November 6, 2026. Final proposal responses are due to Monroe County by November 20, 2026. Successful respondents must make best efforts to subcontract at least 12 percent of the total cost of services to certified Minority-Owned Business Enterprises and 3 percent to certified Women-Owned Business Enterprises.
