Legal Services for Borough of Ridgefield Municipal Court Public Defender

The Borough of Ridgefield seeks Qualification Statements from interested individuals and firms to provide legal services as Municipal Court Public Defender. Selected vendors must carry out the work offsite at their own office premises and demonstrate the capability and willingness to deliver high-quality legal defense services. Only onshore United States organizations and firms that submit all required information will be considered. An Evaluation Committee consisting of members from Borough Administration, the Finance Committee, and legal advisors will evaluate responses based on the totality of information provided, including respondent reputation, experience, and administrative capabilities. Respondents must submit their complete Qualification Statements by December 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Submissions require several mandatory compliance documents, including an Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 acknowledgement form and a Political Contribution Disclosure form filed at least 10 days prior to contract award for contracts exceeding $17,500.
