About this opportunity
AI summaryLane County Waste Management seeks qualified contractors to provide trucking and transportation services for non-hazardous recyclable materials collected at county-operated transfer stations, primarily source-separated glass collected from the public. The selected contractor must transport recyclable materials safely and efficiently from designated county facilities to approved recycling or processing facilities, furnish all required equipment, maintain permits, coordinate loading and delivery logistics, and provide documentation. Eligibility requires onshore USA organizations to perform onsite work, comply with prevailing wage laws, and submit a drug testing certificate. Offerors must submit written proposals electronically through the Lane County Bid Locker website by Thursday, November 19, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. local time. Scope-related questions go through Bid Locker, requests for approved equals are due at least seven days before closing, and other process questions go to Angie Marzano by email. The county evaluates responsive offers to determine which proposal best serves county interests based on price, experience, expertise, availability, and capability for a three-year contract term.
