Legal Services for the Prosecution of Offences Under the Provincial Offences Act

The Corporation of the City of Timmins seeks proposals for legal services to prosecute offences under the Provincial Offences Act, provincial statutes, and municipal bylaws. The requested scope includes reviewing court files, researching legal points, liaising with opposing counsel, evaluating charges and evidence, determining courses of action, and managing pre-trial proceedings such as disclosures and motions. The contract will run for a three-year term, and the contractor will perform the work offsite. Only onshore Canadian organizations are eligible to bid. Proponents must submit questions through the Bidding System by November 13, 2026. Bidders must deliver electronic proposals on the prescribed Form of Proposal via the City's Bidding System by 2:00:00 pm Timmins time on November 20, 2026. An Evaluation Team will score proposals against City-specified criteria and may invite top-ranked proponents to present their concepts.
