Special County Counsel Energy Professional Legal Services for Monmouth County

The County of Monmouth requests written proposals from law firms licensed in New Jersey to provide Special County Counsel – Energy professional services. The appointed counsel will handle various energy-related legal matters assigned by County Counsel offsite from their own office premises for the contract period of January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027. Only onshore U.S. law firms licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey are eligible to submit proposals. Applicants must send questions to [email protected] by noon on Wednesday, November 11, 2026. Applicants must deliver sealed proposals labeled with the proposal title, proposal number, and applicant details to the Monmouth County Division of Purchasing in Freehold, New Jersey, by 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2026. The buyer will not accept late submissions and reserves the right to reject any and all proposals as allowed by law.
