Wake County 2027 Municipal Impact Fund for Local Affordable Housing Initiatives

Wake County seeks proposals for the 2027 Municipal Impact Fund to provide municipal partners with capacity-building resources to plan, implement, and expand local affordable housing initiatives. The program aims to strengthen collaboration among local governments, assist county municipalities in evaluating and addressing housing needs, and increase the effectiveness of housing efforts countywide. Only onshore USA organizations may bid. Proposers may submit up to two proposals through the Wake County Bonfire portal before 2:00 PM local time on January 7, 2027, with clarifying questions due through the portal by 5:00 PM on November 19, 2026. A team of Wake County employees will evaluate proposals on a 100-point scale, requiring a minimum score of 70 for award consideration. Criteria assess project tier and alignment with local goals, project readiness, organizational capacity, budget realism, risk mitigation, deliverables, benefits to low- and moderate-income individuals, and long-term sustainability.
