RFI for Bus Passenger Counting Systems

The buyer requests information for bus passenger counting systems that use camera-based, sensor-based, or other hardware and software to provide real-time counts of passenger boarding, alighting, loads, and origin-destination trip patterns. Systems must link data to specific routes, stops, trips, and vehicle doors. Vendors must detail how their solutions integrate with existing bus data systems and describe processing locations and bandwidth requirements for video-based systems. Only USA-based organizations are eligible to respond, and work must be performed offsite at the vendor's office premises. Vendors must submit all questions no later than November 6, 2026.
