Collection of Current Traffic Data for Metrolinx Grade Crossings

Metrolinx is issuing a Call For Tenders seeking a vendor to collect current traffic data for Metrolinx grade crossings in Southern Ontario, Canada. To support GO Expansion program safety reviews, the selected vendor must collect traffic information on road users crossing GO rail corridors and document instances where drivers deliberately or unintentionally disregard warning signals. Performance of the work will take place offsite. Eligibility for this opportunity is limited to onshore Canadian organizations. Applicants must submit their proposals electronically through MERX by 3:00 p.m. EST on November 06, 2026. Metrolinx evaluates pricing on a lump sum basis and reserves the right to reject any or all submissions at its sole discretion.
