Fire Alarm System Replacement Services for the California Military Department

The California Military Department requires fire alarm system replacement services at Camp San Luis Obispo. The selected contractor must supply, install, and program one Notifier by Honeywell fire alarm control panel or an approved equal for each of the four project buildings. The scope includes replacing existing initiating devices, integrating the panels into the base-wide network of 34 Notifier panels, obtaining approvals, performing acceptance testing, training personnel, and delivering closeout records. Fire alarm permit and shop drawings must be certified by an individual holding a NICET Level V certification in Fire Alarm Systems. Eligibility is limited to USA onshore organizations. Bidders must meet a 5% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise participation goal, and certified Small Businesses, Micro Businesses, or contractors subcontracting at least 25% to them are encouraged to bid. A mandatory pre-bid job walk is scheduled for November 3, 2026. Submissions may be sent digitally via email or online.
