Grid Supply Chain Alternatives and Domestic Manufacturing Scale-Up

The Department of Energy seeks proposals to bolster domestic capabilities and manufacturing capacity for critical electric grid components, subcomponents, and materials, including battery energy storage systems. The scope includes expanding domestic production, integrating qualified domestic suppliers and system integrators, and increasing equipment availability through refurbishment facilities and programs. Eligible applicants are restricted to onshore United States organizations performing work offsite. Applicants must specify required non-federal cost share in the project budget and provide written cost-share assurance with their applications. Submissions require authorized electronic signatures, Current and Pending disclosures for covered individuals, and Transparency of Foreign Connections certifications for proposed recipients and subrecipients.
