Legal Services for the Santa Fe County Assessor's Office

Santa Fe County seeks proposals from onshore USA organizations to provide offsite legal services for the Assessor's Office. Contractors will conduct legal research and prepare analyses, opinions, and memoranda regarding property valuation, property taxation, administrative law, and assessor duties. Responsibilities also include preparing pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal documents, as well as representing the County Assessor in property valuation protests, tax refund claims, appeals, and ongoing assessment proceedings. Interested offerors must submit single-response proposals electronically via Dropbox, providing the proposal response and cost proposal as two separate files. Submissions must not exceed twenty pages, excluding required attachments. A pre-proposal conference will take place on November 10, 2026, and all inquiries must be submitted by November 12, 2026. An Evaluation Committee will evaluate responsive submissions across five factors totaling 1,000 points: Legal Competence and Experience (300 points), Approach/Ability (250 points), Capacity & Capability (250 points), Introduction (100 points), and Past Record of Performance (100 points).
