Global Trade Summit Program Development Planning and Operations Support Services

The City of Laredo seeks a vendor to provide global trade summit program development planning and operations support services offsite. The selected contractor must supplement internal resources to strategically develop, plan, coordinate, and execute a high-level international trade summit. Duties include creating and maintaining a master project plan, planning calendars, and risk logs, as well as conducting research on emerging trade and supply-chain issues. Additional responsibilities encompass program strategy, speaker and panelist development, stakeholder and trade association outreach, exhibitor and sponsor coordination, onsite event management, enterprise event-management platform operation, and VIP dignitary coordination. Eligibility is restricted to onshore United States organizations. Vendors must complete and submit a Conflict of Interest Questionnaire (Form CIQ) when submitting a proposal. Applicants may submit responses digitally via email or online, and all questions are due no later than November 12, 2026.
