City Attorney and Municipal Legal Services for City of Houston Alaska

The City of Houston, Alaska seeks proposals from qualified onshore USA attorneys and law firms to deliver offsite city attorney and municipal legal services. The designated contractor will draft and revise ordinances, resolutions, contracts, and policies, advise on personnel and employment law, and represent the City in litigation, administrative hearings, and code enforcement matters. Proposers must submit bids by email to [email protected] or deliver them in a sealed envelope to the City Clerk's Office by December 11, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. Alaska Time. Written questions are due by December 1, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. Alaska Time. An evaluation committee will score proposals based on qualifications and experience in Alaska municipal law (35%), fee proposal and overall value (25%), and references and past performance (15%). The contract term is for one year, beginning tentatively on January 15, 2027.
