Ethnic Studies Program and Elective Course Service for Middle Schools

The buyer seeks a qualified vendor to provide an Ethnic Studies Program and elective course service across 11 junior high and middle school sites in Bakersfield, California. Selected consultants or consulting teams must demonstrate deep disciplinary expertise to collaborate with District staff, the Ethnic Studies Taskforce, and community stakeholders. The scope includes delivering high-quality, standards-aligned instruction for 6th through 8th grade students, including English Learners and Special Education students. Key areas of work encompass collaborative engagement and archival co-development, disciplinary core content and frameworks, pedagogy and district framework alignment, curriculum scope, materials, assessment, and vendor deliverables.
