Township of Old Bridge Municipal Public Defender Legal Defense Services

The Township of Old Bridge seeks a qualified consultant to provide municipal public defender services. The selected contractor will defend qualifying defendants against prosecutions involving crimes and offenses cognizable by the township municipal court. Eligible applicants must be onshore USA organizations licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey, possess a Certificate of Authorization if incorporated, and demonstrate sufficient support staff. Evaluation will review minimum threshold criteria, including corporate qualifications, staff resumes, and past representation of public entities as municipal public defenders. The contract term commences on January 1, 2027, and concludes on December 31, 2027, with no advance payments permitted.
