Life Safety Cellular Systems and Elevator Emergency Communications for San Antonio ISD

The San Antonio Independent School District requests proposals for life safety cellular systems on an as-needed basis for district-wide use. The required scope includes providing dedicated cellular gateway and communicator devices, installing low-voltage cabling between existing control panels or machine rooms and elevator cabs, and delivering code-compliant in-cab emergency hands-free dialers. Contractors must provide end-to-end support for elevator emergency communications, utilizing licensed elevator maintenance providers for required in-cab or in-shift work. Only onshore U.S. organizations are eligible to bid, and awarded vendors must provide required insurance and bonds licensed in Texas. Interested vendors must submit written questions through the Bonfire portal by 12:00 PM CST on November 18, 2026. Final proposals must be uploaded and finalized through the Bonfire portal by 3:00 PM CST on December 1, 2026, for a three-year contract term.
