Electrical Maintenance and Repair Services for the TxDOT Waco District

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is issuing an Invitation for Bid to establish a one-year contract for electrical maintenance and repair services for the Waco District. The required scope includes providing Licensed Master Electricians, Licensed Commercial Journeyman Electricians, and Apprentice Electricians for both regular and off-shift hours. Bidders must be onshore (USA only) and maintain the legal right to transact business in Texas, including any required registration with the Texas Secretary of State. Applicants must submit a completed Price Schedule with proposed unit prices, a Preferences Schedule, a Qualifications, Experience and References Schedule, personnel resumes, a Child Support Obligation Schedule, an Approach to Work, signed addenda, and a Subcontracting Plan. Submissions must also include approved Certificates of Insurance listing the state of Texas and TxDOT as additional insured. TxDOT will evaluate responses using a pass/fail review based on required documentation and solicitation compliance, followed by an evaluation considering purchase price, best value factors, and compliance with specifications. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for November 5, 2026, and all questions must be submitted by November 10, 2026.
